I live in rural Wales where the most exciting shop we have in our town is a co-op. I wanted to do something for my birthday, something special for my 21st. So my dad took me to Manchester for a 4 day trip. Here’s how it went:
10th March:
Today, we travelled from my home town all the way to Manchester. Was a very long trip but I spent most of it scrapbooking! I got a mini portable printer for my birthday (I got to open my presents early) so had a fun time using that.
For lunch, I had a biscoff and white chocolate waffle from waffle island in the arndale. Was super yummy! Did a bit of shopping, went to Kenji (of course! I am Kenji obssesed!) and also bought some food for the night.
Our ‘apart-hotel’, as it’s called, had a kitchen so we had food there and chilled out for the night!

11th March:
My birthday!! Officially 21. We started the day with dad making us a basic English breakfast. I love a good breakfast like this. I also opened my cards and updated my birthday scrapbook. I have a few thank you letters to send and got some post cards for my pen pals!
We played 2 games of bowling which was so much fun! It was buy 2 games, get the second one half off which was so cool so we of course did 2. I spent some of my birthday money as well and had pizza slice for dinner.
Before going, I signed up for a ton of birthday freebies which was awesome! I got freebies from Chopstix, Costa, Gregs and Krispy Kreme; all of which I signed up for. I also got given a free poly bag from lego from the staff member who saw it was my birthday! That was super nice!

12th March
Today, we got the train to Liverpool. The weather became awful at one point and we had to keep trying to find places to hide from the rain! Did a bit of shopping and went to the Liverpool world museum which would of been great but we were only able to do 1 floor (the aquarium) because a school was having a trip there and it was way too overwhelming for me!

13th March
The final day! We packed our things, did some last minute shopping (i had 2 more freebies to claim; hotel chocolate and lindt!) and got some brunch at Nibbles in the Northern Quater! I love it there, always a good breakfast/brunch! Out train home was just before 2pm and we arrived home at 5pm!
Overall, it was a great trip and I had so much fun!
