Creating an anti doom scrolling bag!

I spend way too much time doom scrolling right now so have decided to create an anti doom scrolling bag. Inside will be some cozy hobby things that I can use instead of being stuck to my iPad. Most are screen-free hobbies. However, I will include my switch in there.

Here is what will be inside my anti doom scrolling bag!

  1. My cross stitch bag project – I had the idea recently to make a hand crafted bag using cross stitch plastic mesh squares and wool. Using the cross stitching technique, I would do each side before attaching them together to form a bag and adding a shoulder strap, This would be a good activity to have inside of my anti doom scrolling bag.
  2. My diamond art case – Now, I’m unsure on this one as it’s so big. I might look into getting a smaller version because I don’t want it to take up too much space. I could have this separate to it but keep it in the same place I keep the bag.
  3. Colouring book and pens – I love colouring but very rarely sit down to do it. This is definitely something I want to include in my doom scrolling bag. I have 3 or 4 colouring books, but would only put 1 inside.
  4. My Nintendo switch 2 – this is a must for my anti doom scrolling bag! Yes, it involves a screen, but it is much better in my opinion to play a video game than to doom scroll!
  5. My journal/scrpabook – something I can dump my thoughts into! I like to ramble (which is one of the reasons I started this blog!) so having a notebook that I can write in at any time would be good. I will probably use my ramble notebooks for this! Will be starting my 13th ramble notebook in the next week or 2! This does mean I have to choose which notebook to use. I’m actually running out of empty ones! Will buy some new ones the next time I’m in Kenji!

What do you enjoy doing instead of doom scrolling?
